Description
These sections will show you the true face of Łupawa - the Łupawa, which is described in guide books. Although you will not find broken kayaks on its banks nowadays as the equipment used for kayaking has already undergone great improvement, you will get enough excitement. You will surely remember its very strong and extremely long rapids providing extraordinary emotions, you will come across numerous fallen trees in the riverbed (mostly on the second day of the trip as on the first day you will examine your ability to fit into the "hole", that is passing the trees blocking the free flow of the river. However, there will be quieter moments as well, enabling the canoeist contemplation of the beautiful natural surrounding on this section of the river. Especially the forest part is memorable, it constitutes the refuge for many wild animals, birds are often nesting on islands located in the riverbed. And many alternative routes available when the main current of the river splits into several smaller ones constitute an extraordinary attraction. But you must be careful, because in two cases, one of these alternative pathways leads to fish ponds. So if you are in mood for fish, you can go there;-)
